Flavours - wedding & celebration cakes

I believe that a cake should taste just as amazing as it looks, and so all of my cakes are made fresh to order (I don't freeze my cakes!) with free range eggs and the finest quality ingredients. A few of the most popular flavours are listed below but you are by no means restricted to this, so please get in touch if you have something else in mind or would like some inspiration! 

Allergens

I can cater for a range of dietary requirements including vegan, gluten and dairy free customers. Please just bear in mind that all of my cakes are made in a kitchen that handles these allergens, and therefore traces may be present in everything I bake.

Wedding cake samples

If you are thinking of ordering a wedding cake and would like to try some samples, these can be posted to you at a cost of £20 for three flavours. This is fully refundable if you decide to go ahead and book me for your cake. I would also love to host you for a cake tasting (with plenty of tea!) at my studio in Fulbourn.

Chocolate Sponge - A light chocolate sponge cake filled with chocolate buttercream or chocolate ganache.

Vegan Chocolate Cake - Rich and fudgy, with a vegan buttercream and range of options for filling!

 

Chocolate Devil's food cake with Dulce de Leche - A rich, moist chocolate cake filled with Dulce de Leche and topped with a Dulce de Leche buttercream.

Salted Caramel - A light caramel sponge filled with salted caramel and a salted caramel buttercream.

​

Victoria Sponge - A light vanilla sponge filled with strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream.

​

Earl Grey & Honey - A moist sponge scented with Earl Grey tea and filled with a honey buttercream.

​

White Chocolate, Pistachio & Cardamom - A cardamom-scented sponge with white chocolate chunks, chopped pistachios & a white chocolate buttercream.

Raspberry & Vanilla - A light vanilla sponge with raspberry buttercream and raspberry jam. 

​

Coconut & Elderflower - A moist coconut and elderflower sponge layered with elderflower buttercream.

​

Lemon Drizzle - Lemon drizzle sponge filled with lemon curd and lemon buttercream.

​

Lemon & Elderflower drizzle - Lemon sponge with an elderflower drizzle, filled with lemon curd and elderflower buttercream.

​

Orange & Marmalade - Layers of light orange sponge filled with orange marmalade and orange buttercream.

​

Coffee & Walnut - A light coffee and walnut sponge layered with coffee buttercream.

​

Traditional Fruitcake - A rich Christmas cake with fruit soaked in Brandy or rum (optional), and then matured and fed with more brandy once baked! This is traditionally covered in marzipan.

​

Lighter Fruitcake - A lighter fruit cake made without alcohol, traditionally covered with marzipan. 

​

Carrot cake - A simple spiced carrot cake with either a cream cheese icing, or spiced buttercream (advised for wedding cakes). Can be made with or without nuts.
